Today has been a "quiet" day. Sharon is visibly more tired than yesterday and has managed to get some sleep throughout the day. Although her blood pressure was marginally lower this afternoon, the nursing staff were OK with this and the fact that inevitably the bodyshock of two such ops in quick succession should catch up with her and cause her to look more tired.
It has been reassuring to hear what we should and should not expect. As always, the nurses and medical staff here have been absolutely brilliant. Sharon was also treated to a foot/leg massage in bed by one of the nurses to try and help her - given that she has been bed-ridden since Saturday, this was a welcome relief for her :)
No word on when to expect to be able to leave, but for now, she is in the right place and certainly being looked after by the right people.

Thanks Dave. Good to hear of her progress,I am not surprised it is slower today after all she has faced in the last days.
ReplyDeleteWe were praying for her at our Housegroup last night. Gordon and I continue to think of you much, with hearts filled with love for you both in these hard days.
Tomorrow both families will be here after the Bandon St Patricks Parade!!We look forward to that.
May you know the joy of the Lord as your strength.xx Ruth and Gordon
Sounds like a good place to be, so take all that it offers. We hope and pray for God's work of healing to continue through the good gifts he has given through the doctors and nurses. Ralph & Cherie
