We are praying for our dear friends Gordon & Ruth Smyth today as Gordon faces heart surgery tomorrow. As for me, I've been doing well since leaving hospital. I haven't been in pain but still have a lot of numbness in my right leg and am not very mobile as yet. I do feel that I'm getting stronger day by day and the physio exercises (below) are helping. Progress is slow but I need to be patient and not overdo it... my achievement today was to be able to get up and down the stairs without a stick!
It was lovely to be able to get out yesterday & sit in the garden in the amazing sunshine!! It's great to see spring at last.....just two weeks ago I was wearing a fur coat!
