The day was really brightened up by a visit from Steve & Ruth this afternoon on their way home from Christmas up North. It was great to see them and we spent most of the evening playing Buzz (PS2 Sports Quiz) - hence, the "staged" photo of "Fabio" (Cappello) showing his disgust at being beaten by two girls :)
We had a good time catching up and chatting, and are grateful for them stopping by to spend time with us.
Thankfully Dave is feeling better today and getting back to eating normally. Can't believe how quickly time has gone since my family left on Monday, and I haven't been outside the front door since then.
I hope everyone is having a restful time with your family and friends while people are off, and enjoying the break from work.
