Day Twenty Nine

It's been a very special Christmas time with my family and I still can't quite believe they all came over to spend Christmas with us. We had a lovely, restful few days spending time together and will always remember this as the most amazing Christmas. Andrew & Orla left at lunchtime yesterday and the others left this morning.....and are still on their way home.

We went to Dave's Mum's place in Swindon on Saturday and had a lovely day - with the most amazing food! Ashley & Nicky also came up to join us. It was lovely for everyone to see each other again for the first time since the wedding. Thank you Marilyn!

Health wise I've been doing quite well - just very tired. I feel so tired sometimes it feels like I'm jetlagged....I'm aware of everything going on but just not quite with it! Today I've had a sore throat and feel a little bit under the weather but I've just been lying on the sofa all day, sleeping and watching dvds.

Dave has been sick since Saturday evening and spent the whole day in bed yesterday. Thankfully, he's feeling a bit better today but still not eating a lot. It's been nice to be able to relax and do nothing and we're really looking forward to relaxing and taking things easy for the rest of this week.

THANK YOU Heather, Tommy, Lauren, Isabel, Leah, Roger, Andrew & Orla for being here and for making this Christmas time so special. We so appreciate everything you did and will have so many very happy memories of our first Christmas together.
